that's the correct 45 degree elbow.notice the width of the plateau as this is where the repo differs from an original.mike

Hey guys, pardon my ignorance. But, exactly what part are you referring to? Just the 45 degree elbow or the flexible gas line to it? I had a flex line like that until a while ago when I took it out to look at it and it crumbled in my hand (bit old and brittle). Is the elbow unique? It's a little hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like those I've been dealing with on my AFB carbs (filter to carb) which, of course, are pretty standard brass or chromed brass fittings.

            Thanks for your patience.

Some one sells them but not original, should be seen on all C1's that I know of no matter what the pump # is! The hose can be found on e-bay . Other wise the original shorter hose can be hard to install to the pump!

I thought that "Weatherhead" made these fittings. Both my 57 and 62 have them and both have the Weatherhead logo stamped on on of the flats. Rich

It had the same logo as the 54 6 banger fuel line fitting to Carb and I think they were made by Imperial but as always I can be wrong

                    Roy,
I'm reasonably sure the one in my 62 is an original and it's a Weatherhead. I'll take some pictures when I get a chance. Rich

Here are two pictures of the original C-1 fuel pump fitting. The first picture shows an original fitting mounted on a 4360 pump. The second shows an original on the left side and a repo on the right side. You can see the "Weatherhead" logo on the original part. This is what I have om both of my cars and I believe it's original. These pictures are from the late Rev. Dale Pearmans collection. Rich

Rich, I agree that weatherhead also made these fittings. NAPA used to sell them.
The 57 low HP FI's also used the same configuration as this fitting except it was a tad smaller.
What size is the threads for the fuel pump fitting. I am going to guess it's 1/8" pipe that screws into the pump. But what about the fuel line. What thread is that. Same thread? Thanks, JD
