Storage question

My 75 is stored in my garage that is not heated. The last 2 years it was stored in an other garage that was all unheated. I didn't use a cover those years. I want to put my battery tender on it but don't know if having the cover on will cause fumes to build up in the car. Any thoughts?Thanks

I store my 70 coupe all the time with cover on and tender in place. Never had a problem. Hope this helps.

Doesn't your cover breath? Do you leave the windows down, or at least cracked open some? If the answers to these questions are yes, I can't see that there is cause for any concern (I assume yours' has the battery in a compartment behind the driver's seat).

You should be fine with the charger and cover in place. If you continue to have concerns, remove the battery and keep the charger on it, out of the car.

FWIW, I keep all of mine on the battery minders with covers on.

We store many cars over the winter and most of them have a battery tender and a cover. It seems something is always changing as far as covers but we have never had a problem.
