Hi,I'm new to the forum, but not the NCRS.I'm currently sorting an older resto.on a '55 with local AACA judging in mind.Were these C1's ever offered with black wall tires?Any idea where to document this possibility? TSB's,option literature,Assembly Manuals,etc.

All six cylinder 1955 Corvettes came with the Powerglide automatic transmission. Most of the 1955 V8 Corvettes also came with the automatic; towards the end of the model run a three speed manual transmission was available and approximately 75 1955 Corvettes were so equipped.

BTW: All the presented options in the previous posting were mandatory...
