I know that this thing can be a royal pain in the butt to change but I think I may have found an "easy" way to change it so I wanted to share it with you all.
Granted, my dash is still out but I pretended like it was in to see if my method would work. The hard part of the job seems to be those four nuts that hold the booster to the firewall so what I did was use my 1/4" Mac air ratchet with a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter and a deep 9/16 socket. I slid the ratchet up along the firewall "behind" the brake pedal and felt around until I thought I was on a nut. Remember I said I pretended that my dash was in place so I didn't look for the nuts...only felt for them with the tip of the socket. After a several misses I managed to get on each nut and literaly had them all tight in less than 5 minutes!
Since I was working next to the firewall I can't see what difference it would make if the dash was in or not so I hope this can be of help to someone. Sure beats fighting to get at those top nuts with a long extension and swivel!!!
