C1 correct windshield wiper arm length 59

Could someone measure their known original wiper arms for a 58 - 60 and let me know the correct length from the tip of the bayonet to the back of the round hinged chrome base? Or if you happen to know the length that is good too

I have two sets of arms. One is 11" from tip to base and one is 10 1/4" from tip to chrome base and has a little pin-hole clean through the side behind the hinge rivet. The 11" arm has no extra hole behind the rivet. Both sets have shiny metal, no X on the bottom and chrome bases.

My car is a semi-early 59 (late dec 58).

Anyone have an answer to this? Correct length of the left and right arms?
Also, pictures of the bottom would be great, as far as what the little plate looks like. The judging guide mentions an "X".

Mine are in a box in the basement waiting on me to do something with the car. If nobody answers this shortly I'll go digging.

bump... Does anyone know the answer to this? I got rid of my old arms as the bases were wrong and I have what I believe to be an original RH arm which is 10.5" from rivet to tip. I need LH arm and need to know the correct length... 10.5" or 12.5"? Something else?

Could someone kindly measure their original 58-60 wipers left and right from base-rivet to arm-tip and advise? I just want to know what the length of each should be so I don't buy the wrong ones...

Ian, My cars are 62s so not sure if this applies. On the car my wiper arms are 11 5/8" and end to end with the little plastic end caps about 12" even.

Ian, those are the measurements of the arms, not the blade inserts.

Hi John, Thanks for looking into this! So what I am looking for is the length of the wiper arms - the hinged bayonet that attaches to the wiper transmission on the cowl. maybe I'm using the wrong term. What you are measuring is the wiper blade part that attaches to the bayonet and has two smaller arms on each end and then the rubber caps and the rubber insert with the dots. I would like to know the length of left and right arms... are the same or different?
