    belt alignment problem

68 BB with power PS and A.I.R. I purchased all the belts from Quanta The inner most belt goes from crank to water pump (Fits)
The next belt goes from the crank to water pump to the PS (fits)
The problem is with the alternator and PS pump. they do not line up, the alt is 1/2 to far back. I have checked all the pulley #s and they are correct. I cant figure it out any help would be appreciated

That is a typical problem on these cars. The pulley was never readily available at the rebuilders and they put any pulley available on the alternators.

That's where the problem lies. No doubt about it.
