    69 Headlight switch replacement

I need to replace my headlight switch. Is there any easy method without dropping the sterring column and removing most of the dash?

    Don,
I have always just loosened the driver's side dash pad, the top pad on both sides and the two bolts that support the steering column and then carefully pulled the drivers pad on the door panel side allowing access to the switch. When I was doing my 71 headlight switch a few years ago I used a mag light to look behind the Tachometer while the dash pad was pulled out. Guess what..... A Corvette Order sheet was carefully placed there in St. Louis.
