Re: 72 Turn Signal Flasher
Edward - I don't think anyone is making repop turn signal flashers. I'd expect the original turn signal flasher in a 72 would be either a Tung-Sol 224 (blue plastic cover) or a Signal-Stat 144 (metal cover w/ silk screened flasher number, etc.). You should be able to find one of these at a Swap Meet and probably NOS.
If you are just looking for a functional flasher, I think the Wagner 224 or the Littelfuse 224 are still available.

Re: 72 Turn Signal Flasher
The '72 Corvette P&A Catalog makes a 'note' on the TS flasher citing "LF 224". While that doesn't mean that's what the factory originally used in production, it does tell us that GMPD recognized Littlefuse as a legitimate supplier back then and I HAVE seen the part in various scrap yard cars of the era...- Top

Re: 72 Turn Signal Flasher
Hi Edward,
For my 71 I was able to buy a replacement flasher at my local auto supply. I found I could take the plastic 'can' off my original and after removing it's metal can, glue it to the replacement. Is that legal?
