    Here is a pic of my 7yr old car collection. He put the corvettes on top because he knows that I like them best

        Stuart, its my sons collection, whats funny is he likes the old corvettes and musclecars better than the new ones. He says that they look and sound better! I have to agree.

          Whoever parked all those should be more careful.
          You are going to get a ton of door dings.

                Steve,
                I do not see a red/red '67 435 convertible in "your son's" collection, what's up?

                  Love that Red Alert Chevelle in the front row. Well done.

                    Oh! No! Don't tell me we're going to have to show our scale car collections now! Please don't get me started. I have about 115 1/24th scale (mostly Corvettes and tri 5's), and about 30 1/18th scale (the latter still in boxes since our last move. Some, like the Exoto Grand Sports, cost me dearly (have um all), but I got no place to display them yet. Thought about a large case in my garage, but until I get the climate controlled out there they will have to stay boxed. I'm trying to pare down my 1/24th scale Corvettes to only Danbury Mint models, i.e., as soon as they come out with a year model I can use to replace a like Franklin Mint model, I do as the quality is far different. The only F.M models I will keep are their C-5 and C-6 which are all new tooling and look good.

                    Danbury is coming out with a 63 Convertible L-76 just like mine except for it is Silver Blue instead of Daytona Blue. I am trying now to locate a model painting expert to see if I can have a good repaint done. The interior is the same as mine except for power windows. It also has power brakes (wimps!).

                    Told ya, don't get me started!

                          Stu,

                          The wife bought a nice wood and glass display case with a mirrored back panel the holds one 1:18 car. She lets me display it in a prominant place in our crowded living/family room. I rotate the cars from time to time. There's a black and white 57 fuelie in there now.

                            Paul;

                            That's right, I too have one 1/18th scale display case in my family room, but I keep a 78 Pace Car in it for my grand kids to see when they come over. Their Dad, my Son, is on his third P.C. full size and the only time his kids get to see much of it is with the model at my house. He keeps it covered and works on it usually when they are in school - don't want them near it I guess.

                              The collection looks like it has almost as many vehicles in it as GM has sitting on the ground now.
