    Does anybody know the best after market cam for a 1965 396/425 HP?

      Ernest,

      That's a pretty vague question. If you are looking to duplicate the original cam's specification. Why not call Crane Cams and inquire about their blueprint series.

          There are several hundred designs available, so you will get several hundred opinions.

          Now, if you are looking for an "aftermarket" OE replacement - one that is ground to the specifications of Chevrolet drawing no. 3963143, you've narrowed it down to no more than a handful.
