PF-141 interchange with WIX filters

HI,

I looked up the WIX interchange for the AC PF-141 oil filter, and WIX came back with the following numbers and height of filters:



A FRAM CH200PL was in there and it measures 5 3/4". The canister is probably 6 3/4. Will it matter which WIX filter I buy? Will the 51123 fit OK? Seems like it will. I want to go with WIX based on feedback from the TDB...

That is the number that I have used for years when I service these cars. Savin' my real PF -141's for fleabay sometime in the next year or two. (None for sale)

Some folks like to have all original stuff in there, even if it isn't judged. Those filters can sell for a bit anyway. I know I've hunted down NOS brake cylinders and trying to get correct spark plugs... But I don't much care about the filter. just a good quality one that will work It'll just be thrown away in 6,000 miles anyway.
