Need help with a measurement of a 1960 radiator support

Can someone measure their 1960 radiator support? I need a measurement of the opening on the top measured from the outside to outside. By the top I mean the entrance opening on the top. My support is missing the crossbar and it may be tweaked. I am doing body work on the car and want to be certain the support is not throwing the body off. Hopefully, someone with a support without a radiator in place will measure their's. Thanks for your time.

This support is for a top tank radiator support. Not sure this matters. Thanks DG

My 60 is 24 1/2" from the upright support from side to side.
The channel is 26 1/2 from the inside to inside.
This is with radiator in, unheated garage, 8 degrees, so thats close but,
      a pretty quick measurement.

There are TWO different radiator supports in 1960. If yours has a driver's side drain, it is for a top tank.

Some cars that were supposed to have aluminum top tank rads. had copper rads. installed because of production problems with the aluminum ones. They had the support for the top tank rads. with the drain on the drivers side but also had a rough cut drain on the pass. side because of the radiator substitution. I've seen this twice on very original solid lifter cars. I discussed this with Noland Adams years ago and he agreed this was the case.

Thanks for the replies. Again: My radiator support has the driver side drain hole. Top Tank radiator Support.
