    Seat springs

Is there a decent source for seat springs for a 56 seat? What do others do, rebuild the originals. Mine are pretty well shot.

    Hi Ed.

I believe Al Knoch makes repros, but I know nothing about the quality or originality.

I am hearing some complaints about those spring sets. Not being contoured properly. Anyone know anything about this?

If you go over to CF, there is a discussion about this problem in a 61, I believe.

            Ed,

You know the springs and foam are only as good as the upholstery guy you are using. Nothing but Nothing is a drop in for a car made in the 60's. What you need to find is a recommendation in Madison, Al. for a good upholstery guy that has been there and done that.

Am I singing to the choir or what!!!!!!!

            And Merry Christmas Ed!
