    67 Front Suspension

Should the rear bolts for the lower A's on a 67 have 9/16 nuts with lock washers or a self locking nut?

Also, should the upper A arm studs have locking nuts or nuts with lock washers?

My 1966 purchased from the original owner and un-restored used nuts with lock washers in both of these areas. Did anything change in 67?

    Dennis,
Referring to the attached photo, On 1967's the rear nuts (7/8")for the lower A-Arms are locking. The washer is serrated and assembles on the bolt head side with the washer serrations toward the frame.
The upper A-Arm nuts for 1967's are locking with no washers(11/16"). If you refer to the photo ,you will notice, These nuts will also have a circular indentation on both sides . The plating on both nuts are zinc.
