    shark fins

I have a question on the shark fins on a 69. One of the fins is a chrome finish. The remainder of them are chrome on the outside perimeter and painted gray on the inside. Which is correct? Also is there a special paint color that I should use if they are painted in the interior?

Should have a chrome edge, and argent silver covering the rest.

Are you talking about the openings on each side of the lower front fender just in front of each door, helping to cool the engine compartment? If so, I thought they would be called gills instead of fins.

Actually, they're called LOUVERS and the pieces added with the TJ-2 option are called LOUVER TRIM.

The original louver trim were just as Chuck described.

Thanks for the response. I will be busy repainting the inside of each piece.
