    Marty, and Paul,

I appreciate your help. You guys have some beautiful cars, I always like when I get to see others cars, it keeps me focused. Paul, it looks like you had your car judged, did you take a points hit on the bumper? If so how much? I'm not so good at doing searches on previous threads, but do you know if/what is an area that people seem to always have a problem with when getting their cars judged? It seems items like the rear bumper would be an issue, along with tires, and one off items that some years have.

Todd, my '74 lost it's rear bumper(thankfully)in 2003 after it had aquired 3 Regional Top Flights, 5 Chapter Top Flights(1996 to 2000)and the Five Star Bowtie Award in '03. It did not have the rear replacement bumper on it when judged. I don't remember exactly how many points the bumpers are on the '73-'77 score sheet, but I don't believe they are more than 20 points for each(front/rear). Obviously, the Eckler's FlexFit would do the best as it's not rigid like the fiberglass replacements and it is a very, very correct two piece unit like the original was. The one piece replacement with the "sawcut" phony seam would most likely do the worst. Also depends on the judges knowledge on judging a "non-original" bumper vs judging an original one.
