Thanks to Gary Chestnut for his article on floor insulation. I have been trying to decide which insulation to use on one of my cars and this was very helpful. It looks like the Hushmat insulation is superior to the others tested.

I don't recall that article. Was it in the most recent Restorer issue? If so, when was that issue sent out?

I agree it was an excellent article... only wish it would have arrived a year earlier when I was replacing my carpet!

Gary may get a job with Consumer Reports with his testing techniques. Very impressive.

Thanks guys, appreciate the cudo's. Am starting to replace the older insulation in my '64 in prep for the San Jose hot summer Route 66 road tour. Hope y'al can make it. Gary....
