Ive got a block that reads like this

cast=F130 june 13, 1970
V0616TBX

I know this is not a corvette block, anyone know what
TBX stands for

TBX= 1970 350 cu in van & bus 255 HP 4bbl, C-10,20,2500,3500,3200 series truck

Beginning in 1970 -- when Chevrolet went to three characters in the engine code:

CXX = car
TXX = truck

There were a few other letters for marine engines and irrigation pump motors, but those are a whole other story best left for another time and place.

At some point more recently that whole system came apart, and I wouldn't make any generalization about the "corporate motors."
