Re: Restoring my car - wheel question

    Hi Chris,
it seems we have taken this conversation in a divergent and convoluted manner involving many side issues.
    Back to basics.....
Primarily, "DG" stampings were not in production within your cars assembly window. This alone should be all the information you need for the right decision, period.
Secondly, there is and always will be "Knowledge beyond the Manual" Practically every '67 judge I know is in tune with the "B" wheel protocol, many within your Chapter and I have had these "B" wheel conversations more than once with your Chapter Judging Chaiman. Any concern here is a none issue.
Thirdly, the "B" wheel phoenomenon is a very cool deal. Judges love to see these types of anomlies.
Fourthly, you have recourse to appeal to the Event Team Leader, the Event Judging Chairman and as Page pointed out, to be courteous and with some advanced planning, I'm sure Mr. Culkowski will make himself accessable during any Judging Meet where he is not present.
Finally, if the above procedures are not succesful to this point, you have my cell #, If I could be any assistance to contribute all that I can with the situation to reach an amicable solution.
    Good Luck
    HaND

Re: Restoring my car - wheel question

      Understood, thanks guys.

Know that I'm not planning on getting rid of the B wheels. I'm really just trying to decide on what to put "on display" as the spare. The B wheel sounds like a perfect candidate.

      Thanks for all the input.

      Chris
