Im having my 427 rebuilt by a local guy with a very good reputation on Corvettes and Chevelles. I need to know what I should be making sure he does besides the obvious. Im familiar with engines and have rebuilt a few, but as you can imagine this one has to be right. Its a 1969 427/400. I want to go completely stock. Not sure if it has been rebuilt before but with 107,000 miles Im sure it has. Looking for some things I can point out to him and make sure they get done. Ive already threatened him with bodily injury if he decks the block
. I should be taking it to him next week. Some background on him: He lives 3 miles away, and his kids and my kids go to school together, for what thats worth. He has a 64 Corvette with some God Awful amount of H.P.hes rebuilding that looks great. Any help would be apppreciated.
