Roy, one of mine (pass side) fell out about 35 years ago and the other has not---yet. I still have the one that fell out!

I just got around to looking at my 59 hard top. My plugs are missing. I always thought that there seemed to be something missing in that area. Does anybody make repros?

Not that I know of, but you could cut one out of SS and using GB weld set them in. Make some more and sell them, many are missing them

Sorry to be stupid but what are you refering to in "filler plug" on the hardtop (I don't see a connection to the picture)? Possibly the trim at the lower corners of the rear window, but that changed in those years. I know I'm slow . . . Don H.

follow the pair of stainless trim pieces that start at the front header, cross over the door glass window frames and end up just short of the deck lid cover. the stainelss blanks were welded to the ends of these trim pieces. theyu are frequently missing as roy pointed out.mike

Stewart and Bert I hope this helps , it's the filler - plug at the END of the inside S/S , not the hold down screw

Surely Glasswoks would have these plugs. They do full restos on the hard tops surely they would have them. Stewy
