Rivets for '64

Howdy,

Finding flat-head aluminum rivets has not been the easiest task. Ecklers has some, CC has some, Zip has some, etc...

Does anyone have a good resource for replacement rivets?

Drew, You didn't say what the rivets are for as most likely one of the repro catalogs has them. But if not then here is a company that can manufacture any rivet you so desire. I have used them to make rivets for the FI's. Nice people to deal with.

Dr Rebuild carries NOS real, easy to assemble flat rivets, best ones available in my opinion. Correct hardness and easy to work with

Paragon also has the correct "soft" aluminum body rivets - that's where I get mine.

Hi Guys,

Doc rebuild has a complete correct rivet set for 22.00 + shipping. Seems like a deal to me :-). I have many of them already but I'm sure it's the one I DON'T have that I'll need and not be able to find. Given that, 30.00 is very reasonable.

Drew,
Just buy the longest ones, you can just clip them shorter easily to the size needed, that way you have 'em all! My experience with Paragon or any other suppliers rivets is they are just to hard, some much more than others. Dr Rebuild is the only supplier of NOS rivets that are a pleasure to work with. They also of course are the correct size and have the right markings if that matters.
Last time I bought any I actually bought over a 1000 of them because once they are gone, they are gone.
