    Shielding Support Bracket

I've checked the archives and know that the support bracket that holds the plug wires is semi-gloss black and that the bolt that holds it to the engine is engine orange. Question is what shade of semi gloss black is best? Would Krylon 1613 match? Thanks in advance.

    Rob -

The 1613 should be fine - they were dipped in cheap black primer.

      Rob,
If you want to go for the "dipped" look, get a gallon of GM Reconditioning Paint # 1050104, hang the bracket on a piece of wire and dunk it in the paint. When dry, it shows nicely the runs and drips, very close to the original.
