    Voltage Regulator Repair

I just recently purchase the correct voltage regulator for my 68 427/390hp car this past week, but I need to send it out to be looked at test and restored. Is the any recommendation of any companies or individuals who specializes in this this type of work. It taking a while to find the correct regulator so I want to make sure in it done properly and specially for judging. Thank you - Jeff

            Jeff,
I agree John Pirkle is the man but when he says 8 weeks count on 16 weeks. His work is outstanding but he needs a lot of help in estimating how long it will take to complete the job.

              Re: Voltage Regulator Repair

Jeff, I just recently got my original 1967 515 voltage regulator back from John Pirkle.
As you can see in the pic, it pretty much looks like a brand new one.
As Rick mentioned, Pirkle is very, very busy and the 8 week estimate is probably a little too optimistic. Well worth the wait however, in my books.
              Ridge.

Good carburetion is fuelish hot air . . .
