    69 427 AC Compressor/A.I.R. Belt

The AIM shows the AC compressor belt going over the A.I.R. pump for my '69 427 and unfortunately I do not have the A.I.R. pump. I called Quanta and they confirmed that part number B-146 includes the A.I.R. pump and they do not sell one for my car that goes from compressor to crankshaft.

Quanta said I could measure the belt with a narrow metal tape measure and they would match something up. Seems like the logical route, but I wanted to check with you folks to see if there are any alternative ideas?

    Thanks in advance,

    Pat

I suspect that the belt for a 1970 LS-5 with C-60 will work. That application used no AIR but it's otherwise similar to 1969. The GM belt is discontinued but Quanta should have a reproduction of it.

          Grant,

Since I don't have the A.I.R. pump installed yet, I have to go an aftermarket (Goodyear, etc.) belt size which I did find today, but thank you for the offer.
