There was some talk last fall that the ChevVetteFest might continue during the Summer at a yet to be determined site somewhere East of the Mississippi. Nothing recent.

Bob Ashton spoke to the Illinois NCRS tech session last Sunday. There will be a show on the same date as the old show -- I think he said Nov 21 & 22, but I wasn't taking notes. Some of the old sponsors are going to sponsor the new show. Of course it will also have a new name, and a new award, but the same old location (Rosemont) and hopefully the same judges. It will include other collector vehicles besides Chevrolet and Corvette, as they can get competent judges for those cars.

I took my yellow 66 got the triple and had a great time, its a great show, some great cars, the flea market parts is the only thing missing from all these shows today, the old days of hunting are gone, and a few of the old trappers are gone too. Phil 8063
