    67 diff crossmember question

So, I pulled the original cross member out of the car, had the bushings pressed out, acid dipped it (along with the frame), powdercoated it black and the new bushings are back in.

Now all I have to do is hammer down the tabs that hold the bushing in place. Any suggestions for that activity?

    Chris -

Just smack 'em with a hammer - the tabs bend over pretty easily.

make sure it's a Corvette hammer and not a Ford hammer. If you use the Ford hammer you will bend the crossmember.
