67 convertible windshield frame outside trim

I'm helping a friend (who didn't take the car apart--he got it that way) with reassembly of the 4 outside stainless winshield frame stainless pieces on a 67 convertible. The car is freshly painted, the stainless is fresh polished, and we want to do it right the first time.
What is the sequence? Do the end pieces slide over the ends of the two center pieces or do they snap over? Any special hints from those of you who have done this multiple times?
I can do a 53-62 windshield assembly pretty much in my sleep, but this is new ground to me, and I want to help him, not hurt him.

Mike,

I always first pre fit the trim before I paint to make sure of the fit. Here is the order I do it in.
1. install the top header by just catching all the speed nuts.

2. install the lower trim (centering it from side to side) only snapping the center 3 or so clips inplace.

3. install the two side pieces first catching the top header into the sides then slip the lower moulding into the side mouldings. Once they are conected catch the 11 lower trim clips and 2 side clips onto the mouldings by gently slapping them with the meat of your palm untill they are seated. Being careful not to dent the trim (it's not pot metal like C-1's).

4. then tighten all the top speednuts along with the 2 upper corner bolts.

5. Then you can install the inner trim.

If I forgot a step I.m sure someone can fill in.
