      Interesting!!
      FAQ... How can it be more accurate at 1/10th the cost?
      Reply...That was our design standard.
      Does " if it seems too good to be true" apply here?
      Still kinda fascinating to someone still drawing.

          Interesting piece of equipment.
          But, to take the dimensional data and use it to make a correct reproduction is another story.
          Designing tools to make the part to size, choosing materials and finishing the product add another large dimension to producing the perfect reproduction part.
          Not an easy task, or everyone would be doing it.

              There was a post about this on another forum. Manufacturers are using this technology to make prototype parts and have been for several years
