Not much info for 2010 just yet. We can be pretty sure that Torch Red will return. The plant will be reopening after a 2 month shutdown on Monday, the 23rd. We'll finally be getting back to normal............. maybe ! Sounds like the 2010 production schedule will be pushed back slightly, by about a week or so. News is leaking out slowly now that the plant is getting ready to roll again.

Ordering for the comp group cars as well as the GT1's still not available as of last Thursday's orders.

'Glad to hear Torch Red will likely return! I hope the red interior will match and not be darker.

Yeah, love that Torch Red with the matching Red leather interior. Reminds me of my first '63 red roadster (was on the Road & Track cover) and my 2003.(same colors) In fact, every Corvette(13) except an 82 Collector has been RED. Never could figure out why they got away from this color combination to begin with. These are truly historic Corvette colors. Maybe they're trying to play to the under age 65 generation. I know it costs $M to have a different trim color available, but I wish someone would look at the Corvette history just a little. Course, when you're on the edge of bankruptcy it makes a huge difference! Who worries about the favorite color in 1963!!! We old Corvette lovers for 45 years+ may be on a perilous path! God love us!

Too bad it's only on a 4LT car that you can order the package.
I was thinking that if this had been available 18 mos ago with a 2LT I'd now have one in my garage.

With GM doing away with the Performance Division , is this the only year for the ZR1 ?
What will happen to the high performance GM cars ??

when i asked why they dropped torch red for the C-6 i was told it did not show the lines of the C-6. there was a C-6 painted torch red on display at NCM several years ago. i wonder why they changed their mind ???

I feel very confident we will see the ZR1 in 2010. What we won't see is advancement in the area of the fun hot rod stuff in the GM line. Like the Cobalt SS's, HHR SS's or any future hot rod pickups or SUV's........................... for now !
