I've talked about this before to members on the Oil Eye I installed in my 55 Corvette. This guy in Sweden that I know sells one now and then on e-bay of the few he still has from buying some years ago. He even shows my 55 Corvette with it installed under my dash area.
It's the most asked about item I ever added to my 55 ,if your Corvette has a PG and you don't wont get out to left the hood and burn your hand to check your PG oil this is the neatest thing ever, After starting your engine with you still in the vett you only need to push the button that lights up for night use and it pulls the red PG fluid filling the glass eye . It works on engine vacuum , a steel tube run down the PG stick tube and is set at the PG one quirt LOW level . If the eye don't fill with PG oil the PG is one quart low.
Originally it's sold to check engine oil but I use it for the PG oil because they do leak . It can be used for any Automatic trans Vett or Car.
You will rarely ever see one for sale.
