Here is an updated wiring diagram for the horn relay. The BLACK #12 wire with the ring end should be placed under the relay mounting screw. This is ground.

The other short #16 black wire (that is attached to the fusible link and red wire coming out of the harness) attaches as shown on one of the screw lugs of the relay.

There is also a red #10 wire that attaches to a screw lug on the relay.

Thanks very much for taking the time to post that diagram. I'm looking at page G219 of my 67 AIM, UPC 12, ref A7,....is the diagram in the top right hand corner correct....or does it require modification....thanks.

RIchard, I guess you are refering to the drawing of the relay and connections. That drawing is incomplete!!!! It fails to show the ground wire (ring connector) connected to the relay mounting screw and the black #16 fusible link wire with "U" shaped connector attached to the buss bar along with the red wire.
