Look in your Service Manual or AIM at the wiring diagram. Start at the fuse and trace out the wires to the items that this fuse serves.

It's a good exercise and you'll become aquainted with the wiring diagram and you'll probably find the problem.........through elimination

      Don,

check to make sure that you have double contact bulbs in the sockets and not single contact bulbs. Check in each socket and bulb. You might find that to be the culprit.

Rich, The correct courtesy lite bulb is a #90. The originals used a very small glass globe. Now a #89 looks the same except it's single contact. Some of the foreign made bulbs are really a bear to install. Some of he USA made 90's are also. Seems they put too much solder on the contacts. Just file a tad off. Wouldn't take much to blow a fuse if you don't have the #90 installed correctly either. The imported bulbs have a much bigger globe.

            Don,

the first thing I would do is to remove all 3 courtsy bulbs from thier sockets (2 under dash and halo if it's a coupe or rear if it's a convertable) and the put a new fuse in. Thats the simplest place to start.

I believe the lighter is also on this circuit. Many a loose element have caused a blown ctsy fuse.

The glove box light and the brake light switch are also powered from that fuse; the headlight switch has nothing to do with that circuit.

Glad you found it......but one has to wonder how the restoration shop tested their work before shipping it off to you?
