Power Steering

I just get the parts to my power steering changing from no power to power.Valve ,cylinder,pitman arm,support bracket,long shaft are grey.Pump and pulley black.
What is original color 1965?
Installation manual is missing,anybody that have a copy so I can start before my supplier opens again.

valve-----semi-gloss black

cylinder----semi-gloss black

relay rod----natural or semi-gloss black

frame bracket----semi-gloss black or natural

pump-----semi-gloss black

pump pulley----semi-gloss black for stamped steel pulley; cast pulley is usually natural but may be semi-gloss black

add-on crank pulley (if used)-----semi-gloss black

pitman arm----usually natural

Nothing that I know of. However, you can purchase the 1965 Corvette NCRS
Judging Guide and Technical Information Manual in print form from the NCRS Bookstore. If you own a 1965 Corvette, there are THREE publications that you MUST have:

1) The above referenced JG and TIM;

2) The Assembly Information Manual

3) The appropriate Chevrolet Service Manual (1963 with 65 supplement)

ALL are available from the NCRS Bookstore.

Bo -

I'm not Joe, but the upper and lower control arm bushings were painted black with the control arms after the bushings, retainers, and bolts were assembled to the arms, the idler arm, and the tie rod ends and sleeves were painted black as part of the steering linkage assembly from Buffalo. The ball joints are unpainted, as are the sway bar link bolts/bushings and control arm bumpers.
