    68 Ride Height

My 68 which has been completely restored to factory original seems to be lower on the left side than the right.
I thought it might be the garage floor so I measured from the floor to the fender lip at the center of each rear wheel and the driver side is 1/2 inch lower than the passenger side.
Can I adjust this somehow so that the car sits level ?
    Thank you in advance

    Kurt,

I am amazed that you can tell a half inch difference from side to side. You have a keen eye. Perhaps it is the shims you used on the body. I did a frame off on my '68 and I think now it sits too high in the rear by about 2 inches however I think it to be level. I guess that is better than too low. The spring will eventually settle out I would think. I hope others give solutions to your problem.

Best points to start measuring are the measurements that are in the AIM. They are what the factory used. Make sure those are within spec before you start anything else.

My 68 has never had the body off, although it had an extensive body on resto 20 years ago. It only has 36K on it, but it does look lower on the left than the right when viewed from the back. I aways assumed it was just a result of 40 years of driving with few passengers.
