    Date on 1108429

Is a September 16 dated starter too close a date for an engine built (not cast) September 17?

    Thanks,

    Re: Date on 1108429

The starter was installed at St Louis, so it has nothing to do with the engine assembly date. Measure the starter date against the build date of the car.

BTW: If the object is listed with a part number in the AIM, it was installed at the Corvette Assembly Plant.
