    C1 PG Trivia

Probably never seen one of these for sale but if you have a C1 PG your rebuilding or bought this is the original torque Converter for Corvette only V8 ( different stale speed) having 35 bolts . Car has fewer bolts as seen here . I'm mentioning it because when buying a Corvette PG you need to look and see if it has the correct one.

    Roy,
It was also used on pass cars with 2x4's, FI, and 348 engines according to my 60 Parts Catalog.

OK, now how much of a difference does it make? What is the difference in stall speed?

Obviously not a judged item, since you can't see it once it is in the car. Is it noticeably different that the standard passenger car torque converter
      when driving the car?

I just love automatics and all their peculiar operating terms, i.e. "Stall speed". Practically all the drag race cars use automatics now-a-days - all this lazy "point and shoot" stuff. It's not for me. Real men row their own.

            I dint know that!
Because the Corvette generated such great fantastic RPM GM added more bolts to keep the seal from leaking.
