I have a chance to buy a transmission that I believe is suitable for a 60 Corvette but would like to verify it. The main case is T10 B-1, extension is T10h-7a, the side cover is T10 148B. The T10 148B fits with the NCRS Summer '86 article but the others are slightly off of the T10 7B Extension id and the T10 1B mentioned in the article.
I have not seen the transmission but my nephew says the unit has D142 stamped vertically, WG Division and a W-1-C187 on the main case.
Does this mean anything to the transmission guru's in the crowd?
