My grandsons in the Z06. And the youngest has to "drive" every car in the building. He sits in every car and talks about "maros and corvettes" constantly. I just grin.

I've got a 69 L89 Camaro I purchased from fellow NCRS member Larry Murphy. The day I got it, I loaded up my 6 year old twin girls in the back seat for a drive. On a straight stretch I stopped, wound it up to 4,000 RPMs and dumped the clutch. I didn't lift my foot off the gas throught the first three gears.

When I came to a stop and the smoke cleared from the interior, my daughters giggled and asked me to do it again. The apple(s) doesn't fall far from the tree.

Thanks, and totally agree. Although my son STILL got a later start than I did. I came home from the hospital in my dad's (now mine) 67. Just a couple weeks old at that point. So, you could say that I was almost literally born to be in a vette.
