The new Michelin radials on my 67 got an 18 point deduction for originality and my original Goodyear spare received a 1 point deduction for condition. I am considering switching to a set of new Goodyear (Integrity) radials. Will the switch quality me for a lower deduction of 20, 30, or 40%?

I made the decision to use new tire technology and not to use bias ply (2 ply/4 ply) tires.

Ron -

You should have received a 75% originality deduction (22 points) for the Michelins, due to the non-OEM brand; changing to the Goodyears would reduce the deduction to 60% (18 points).
