I Have a 1959 Vette With A 4 Speed T-10 Transmission That I Have Had Rebuilt.I Have A New Transmission Leak Now,its Leaks Fluid Out The Tiny Hole That Has A Tapered Pin In It.I've Had The Pin Replaced But Still Have A Small Leak.any Sugestions?

That tiny (tapered) hole and associated (tapered) pin is what holds the reverse shifter arm in position. The pin itself has a taper that is intended to seal against the taper in the housing and prevent leakage. Two options are use a hammer to insure the pin is seated properly, or (better) remove the pin clean the hole, and apply a little sealant in the bottom of the tapered area, then replace the pin. This assumes the pin is the source of the leak, and not just the lowest point where leakage at the reverse shaft to the case seal would run down to.Bill Clupper #618- Top
