I also have a 63 powerglide and mine has a slight leak under the pan. I replaced the rear seal which was also leaking but I think these transmissions just leak. I leave a pan under the car there is never much of a drip so I just live with it. I just hate leaks though.

Do you notice the leak all of the time or only after the car has been sitting awhile? One possibility is the torque converter draining causing the "leak". Make sure not to overfill these transmissions. Check the fluid level and also try drying everything off and going for a ride and then see if it's wet and where...
