The original Coils Springs on my 75 still had the green labels on them. The code was "AJ" and the number was 346940. I believe them to be the originals but have no absolute proof. The NCRS Judging Guide shows the AJ code as N/A for 75?? Can anyone verify that the AJ-346940 label was used in 75. See pics of original coil spring label

Very nice. My data shows the AJ used in 76 for Corvettes with spring weight of 761-800 pounds, same as NCRS Tech guide.
I show 75 using only two springs: an AH and an AY...and so does the 75-77 tech reference guide.
What's peculiar is that the 76 part numbers, such as the 346940 fall in line with the 75 sequence...346939 and 346943.
this is where I go to my build sheet inventory but I have only a few for 75-76 and what I do have for 75 conflicts with the NCRS tech guide. go figure.
Here are my theories:
So what's the build date of your 75? A late 75 which may suggest it was subject to 76 broadcast codes.
75-77 tech manual is not current in this respect and in need of further research. I say this because my build sheets show both a AA for front coild springs and an HY...does not reconcile with published documents. I trust the build sheet.Tom Russo

Re: 75 Coil Spring Label
My 75 Build date was April 2nd 1975. (VIN 1Z67J5S421273) It is a convertible L48 4 spd with air.
I would hope that the AJ Coded Coil Spring was indeed introduced prior to that date.
