Re: C2 Engine Bay Pic Request
Thanks guys. These photos are a HUGE help. Unfortunately, my title carries the NY State reVIN number - apparently the original title was lost and the car was recovered after a theft (now with numerous '66 engine parts on the 65 block) and auctioned off at a state police auction.
With regard to its radio status - she has one... but of course mine's missing all of the ignition shielding as well - chalk up another $450 to the parts wish list (hey, Father's Day is coming up soon right?).
In any case, thanks again for the photos, diagrams are nice but a photo is definitely worth a thousand words. As time and budget allow I'm slowly replacing incorrect parts with correct ones. Looking forward to San Jose where I'll be bringing many, many empty memory cards to fill with photos of the creme of the crop for reference for future projects.- Top

If that's true, and your intent was to ensure accuracy for Greg, then your attention to detail is lacking. You neglected to note the noise suppression capacitor attached to the coil. You also did not note the third photo, which shows part of the shielding in place. I don't recall any radio delete Corvette being fitted with these items. The photos without the shielding in place show detail that would not be possible had the shielding been in place.
Not to belabor the point, but I'll have to assume that any comments made by you, absent any "smiley faces" are to be taken seriously.
Have a Nice Day
