58-60 grooved rear spring source

What all years and models used these grooved rear leafs? Did any of the passenger cars use these same springs or where they a Corvette only part?

Any idea what a good used pair would cost me?

am certain the 57 chevy pass cars didn't use a grooved spring. used grooved vette springs will likely run ya somewhere north of 500 bucks.mike

All solid axles (53-62) used grooved springs. Heavy duty suspension 57-59 cars may not have been grooved.

What year of straight axle corvette are you needing them for? The shortest leaf will have a julian date and part number on it. The longer leafs on my 1960 were not usable, so I found a nice set from a 1959 and swapped the short leaf.

I don't need any just yet. I found a 60 that I'm considering buying but the original rear leafs have been replaced with regular ones. I just wanted to get an idea of what it would cost and how hard it would be to find a proper looking set.

At least now I have an idea.
