Doing My Part for the Country & GM!!!

(why is it when you tell your wife that you are just going to look, she always says leave the check book at home) at what they had to offer. We browse, kick a few tires and take a couple of test drives and decide we might just order a new Corvette in a few months and take the museum delivery option. Now is not the time!!!!!!!

    (she drives a standard)

So in one evening I managed to:
    1. Support GM to ensure their survival,
    2. Support the Corvette division to assure GM they still have some customers,
    3. Saved the government bailout money,

            Dang Michael,
I wanted to get one of those new Atomic Orange Corvettes, THEY ARE SHARP!! However we had to settle for a new silver Traverse. We have three young granddaughters and a 4th due in a matter of days. The 04 Avalanche wasn't big enough to take them all "cruisen" so we had to go for the "3 seater".
GRANDBABIES, CORVETTES and (traverses), LIFE IS GOOD!!

ENJOY YOUR NEW CORVETTE AND CONGRATULATIONS OB HELPING GM!!

Mike and his late father did much more for their country in addition to love for Corvettes. Both retired from the Marines. I believe that they served in conflicts from WWII to Vietnam. This is from memory, correct me if I am wrong. Thanks Mike !!!

                        Thanks for the compliment John!

Dad served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He retired with just short of 40 yrs of service as a Colonel.

I on the other hand only served in Vietnam and retired as a MGySgt after 23yrs of service.
