    T10 Leak

    Hi All;

    I'm into my second "rebuilt" T10 (since 2005), this second one a correct 1963 only unit. This one, like the first one leaks like crazy from the front of the main case where the counter shaft comes through.

    On the one I just took out, I had put some cold weld over the shaft hole which reduced the leak, for a while. For this new "correct" unit, I want to fix it right particularly if I am going to take the whole *^%#$%& thing apart.... again!

    What is the conventional wisdom to get this fixed so it won't leak??? Any recommendations for someone in/near NJ who can do this work??

    Thanks!!!

    Joel

    Re: T10 Leak

    I'd try Ed Hartnett, he can install a bushing in the case to replicate the original size and fit characteristics of the original parts. 610-623-9381 last I knew.
