3 SEALS, 3 Shots & 3 dead b-----ds! Yes I am proud of the SEALS and the Captain of the Maersk Alabama. What an example of leadership and guts! Just another example of why I'm proud to be an American.

Unfortunate the fourth did not accidentally fall of the ship and get lost in the wash, then we would not have to feed him forever. Hopefully we do not have to turn him over to some "elders" so he can teach the next wave of animals some new tricks

It was sickening to see the Pentagon news conference yesterday afternoon when the news *****s were asking every question they could to point up any sign of misdeed or error in our response to the situation. This was a great job by the Navy and one for which even the Israeli counter-terrorists would be proud.

I was thinking the same thing during that conference. The room did seem to tilt to the left or was it my imagination?

The ABSOLUTELY correct response to this kind of situation!! Nice to see the administration had the stones to authorize use of force, rather than try to negotiate/deal with this scum. Lots of media people and others seemed surprised they could pull this off, given the local conditions; they simply do not appreciate the high degree of training and professionalism at play here.

How in the world did the Navy sharpshooters make those kills? I only saw the computerized mockup on TV, and that life boat was bobbing and tilting like a cork on water on a windy day. And to think that all three fired simultaneously. Just amazing.

I wonder if they used that Barrett M107 50 cal sniper rifle?

About time the world learned not to F*&^ with us.

There are a couple of other videos on the subject of this weapon. Take a look at them.

No problem, just time the bob and pop 'em at the top of the stroke..

I've 'heard' that the captain again jumped off the boat and that the pirates were shot after that. Is that the way it happened? Makes more sense, but I've never been involved in any of these things that SEALS may be capable of.

All four (the Captain and the three pirates) were together standing inside the lifeboat; three simultaneous head shots and the pirates were history. And it was dark at the time.

The fourth pirate was aboard the Bainbridge, getting medical attention for a hand wound.

I honestly don't know what happened, but I would be very surprized if the captain jumped overboard. That would just cause a disturbance. Military snipers can take out quarters at 250 yards all day long.

My quess is the captain was sitting right beside the scum bags and had the good pleasure of hearing their sculls crack wide open when the bullets hit.

Wow! I thought I respected those guys before, but that is amazing! Our military forces deserve our utmost respect and admiration. I am proud to support them!
