    C2 doors

I have a 67 conv driver door that needs repair but before I decide to spend the time replacing the rivets and such. Can someone tell me if all conv C2 doors are the same? I heard the area where the internal door handles attached on the 63's are different but other than that all are the same. I have not been able to verify this. The reason I ask is I may replace the whole door vs repair. Thanks for the help.

63 and I believe 64 had raised sections of the exterior fiberglass near the door handles.

On the insides, the door panels were different throughout 63-7. I think they changed them every year, but double check me on that.

Chris - Thanks for the info. I will keep digging as I have not found a source for this info yet. I will post it when I do find it.

        Yes, please do.

Also, I can say that because of the difference between the 63-66 and 67 door panels, that there should be an internal configuration difference. In other words, the lock knob is at the back of the door panel for 63-66, and in the middle for 67.

67 doors differ from the 65 and 66 doors in that the inside door lock mechanism is in a different location on the 67 doors.. also , there were differences in the shape of rivets used in st louis doors vs AO Smith manufactured doors. mike

Also AO Smith doors do not fit on St Louis cars. And the reverse is also true. If installed on the wrong car fit will suck.
