Skeptical? Do you know something about this pad or car? The car holds a Bloomington Gold with no issue noted about the pad stamp. Please enlighten me so that I can contact John Kocsis, who I bought the car from years ago and who restored the car.

Seems like everyone's a pad stamp expert these days.

No, I don't know anything about this car, and as I said, it is hard to tell from the photo. I retract my skeptical comment, since I am not willing to get into this debate.

My advice to you would be not to ask folks to contribute photos of pads, then offer any form of commentary regarding them which could be construed as you judging their authenticity, especially when as you said you know nothing about the vehicle. Doesn't lend itself to people trying to help you out.

I am the one who is now skeptical of your intentions.

Anyone got a picture of a 57 engine pad that contains the letter 'K'? That is actually where I was going with this whole thread? I want to see what the 'K' font looks like.

I have seen a 56 with a 'GV' code before, but never a 56 with an 'FK' code.
